Funeral services for Alan "Al" Lovested, 66, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mr. Lovested died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Al was born November 12, 1946 in Moline, IL, the son of Claude and Sylvia Bukovsky Lovested. He married Linda Bohl November 18, 1967 in Moline, IL. He retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 2003 after 41 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, reading, feeding the birds, looking after his dogs, and working on his lawn. He was a Chicago Bears Fan. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson and his mother. Survivors include his wife, Linda Lovested, East Moline; daughters, Jodi (Jason) Jensen, Hampton, IL, Tiffany (Brad) Miller, Sherrard, IL, and Jennifer Lovested, East Moline; grandson, James Jensen; mother, Sylvia Lovested, East Moline.
