Albert E. Pavesic, 95, East Moline, died Thursday April 20, 2006 at Aspen Health and Rehab, Silvis. Private family services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Albert was born December 5, 1910 in Novinger, MO, the son of Anton and Anna (Sandretto) Pavesic. He married Helen Buban, May 1, 1937 in Silvis. She died May 16, 1988. Albert retired in 1970 from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline as an inspector. In his youth he was an accomplished athlete, playing basketball and baseball. His high school team was 2 Time State Champions. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Mr. Pavesic enjoyed fishing and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Milt Brown, East Moline, grandsons (spouse) Andrew Brown, East Moline and Adrian (Lauma) Brown, Aurora, IL and a brother Robert Pavesic, Kirksville, MO. His wife and a sister Helen preceded him in death.
