Alice M. Mabie, 103, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at East Moline Nursing and Rehab, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private graveside services will be held at Moline Memorial Park, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Alice was born March 24, 1910 in Montrose, IA, the daughter of James and Gertrude Cook Cresswell. She married Edmond R. Mabie November 3, 1932 in Galena, IL. He died April 4, 1959. She was a member of the East Moline Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Wasson, East Moline, and Pearl (Marvin) Johnston, East Moline; grandchildren, Greg (Barbara) Ackerland, Scott (Jamie) Ackerland, Suzanne Niner, Brett Ackerland, and Matthew (Amanda) Johnston; great grandchildren, Marshall, Jay, Austin, Troy, Amber, Amanda, Dakota, Wyatt, Dylan, Kadie, Taeylor, Danny, Katie, Brittany, Jessica, Cassidy, and Bradley; 15 great great grandchildren; niece, Lynne Bell; nephews, Richard and Gerald Reeve.
