Alice M. Stang, 99, of Colona, IL, died Monday, September 15, 2008 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, IL. Alice DeRycke was born December 14, 1908 in Annawan, IL, the daughter of Theophil and Louise DeRycke. She married Ernest Stang November 8, 1928 in East Moline. He died October 13, 1992. She had been a homemaker. Survivors include: sons and daughter-in-law, Dean Stang of Rock Island, IL, Duane Stang of East Moline, David and Dawn Stang of Cincinnati, OH; 8 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myrtle Stang of Silvis.
