Alice A. Tinsman, 89, Geneseo, passed away on November 25, 2011 at Good Samaritan Home, Geneseo. Funeral services are 10 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Moline Missionary Church, Moline. Alice Eineder was born January 30, 1922 in Goodland, Michigan. She had worked at Servus Rubber in Rock Island, for 27 years. She married Frank Tinsman on May 27, 1972. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing bingo, and her wonderful neighbors. Alice loved her family dearly and enjoyed the companionship of her cat, Socks. Survivors include her children, Gerald (Janet) Verscheure, Geneseo, and Shirley (Bob) Ruhl, Cambridge, IL, 5 grandchildren, 1 step granddaughter, 10 great grandchildren, 1 step great-granddaughter and a great-great granddaughter, and her sister Alma Jean Ferrier, Apple Valley, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Dianne and grandson Darren Walters. The family would like to thank the late Joe Veryzer and his family for their love and care over the past 30 years.
