Alisa J. Frederick-Mahoney, 49, East Moline, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Alisa was born November 9, 1962 in Davenport, IA,the daughter of Robert and Margorie (Swim) Frederick. She had last worked as a cook at Maid-Rite, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Survivors include her children Robert Frederick, Rock Island and Dale Frederick, East Moline, granddaughter Michelle and her siblings, Robert (DeLee) Frederick, Kirbyville, MO, John (Robin) Frederick, East Moline, Beckie Frederick, East Moline, Cheryl Godsey, Corbin, KY, Candy (Mel) Egbert, East Moline, Mike (Laura) Christiansen, Rice Lake, WI, Martin (Norma) Christiansen, Kewanee, and Marita (Dave) Irvin, Galva, IL, and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Monte and sister Monica.
