Funeral services for Alyce DeBoo Washburn, 91, Silvis, are 10 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Wildlife Federation. Alyce died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Alyce DeJonghe was born April 6, 1920 in Moline, the daughter of Rene and Louise (Garnier) DeJonghe. She married Frank DeBoo and together they had 3 children. He died November 2, 1982. She married Glen Washburn who also preceded her in death. The two of them enjoyed riding motorcycles. Alyce enjoyed fishing and time with family. Survivors include her daughter Dian (Joseph) Schuch, Rock Island, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a brother George (Marcella) DeJonghe, Milan. She is preceded in death by her husbands and a son Larry and an infant daughter Kathleen.
