Funeral services for Amy DePauw-Baylor, 31, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Private committal services will be held at Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Amy died Monday January 08, 2007 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers and gifts, a memorial fund has been established for her son's education fund. Amy DePauw was born March 29, 1975 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of William "Bill" and Mary (Zarnt) DePauw. She was a graduate of Black Hawk College, Moline, IL, where she received her Paralegal Degree and Commonwealth Business College, Moline. She married Martin "Marty" Baylor August 14, 2001 in Rock Island. She had worked at several of the former Eagle Food Stores in the Quad Cities. She had been an Assistant Manager when Eagles closed. She had most recently worked as a Department Manager at Home Depot, Bettendorf, IA. First and foremost she was a loving and caring mother. Nothing came between her and her son, Christian. She lived for him and loved him with all her heart. She loved to watch him wrestle, win or lose she was always proud of him. She never knew how much her son loved her. Amy was also a wonderful wife, friend and confident to many. Last but not least she was a loving caring daughter. Survivors include: her husband, Marty Baylor of East Moline; son, Christian Turner of East Moline; stepdaughter, Ashley Baylor of Mingo, IA; stepson, Alexander Baylor of Mingo, IA; mother, Mary DePauw of Davenport, IA; father, Bill DePauw, of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother, Emily DePauw of Rock Island; brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas and Adele of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Tony DePauw of Phoenix.
