Amy May McBride, 25, of Moline, IL and formerly of Mountain Home, AR, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her home. Memorial visitation will be 2:00-5:00PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline. Following visitation, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering at Friends Circle Club, 701 18th Avenue, Moline, IL at 6:00PM. Amy May will be laid to rest with her family in Mountain Home. Amy was born June 28, 1989, in Mountain Home, AR, the daughter of Tommy Dean and Andrea Sperry McBride. She worked for Personal Marketing Research, Davenport, IA since 2007 as lead Research Interviewer. She enjoyed cooking and working for PMR. She loved helping people and was a wonderful mother to her children. She had been a life member of the AMVETS Auxiliary. Her goal in life was to be a counselor to troubled children at Arrowhead Ranch. Survivors include her children, Belicia and Jorge Gutierrez; their father, Jorge Gutierrez; mother, Andrea McBride, West Branch, IA; father, Tommy Dean McBride, Mountain Home; grandmother, Willeane Sperry Schave, Mountain Home; brother, Kristopher Sperry, Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie Sperry, Floyd and Zelma McBride; uncle, Jim McBride; and cousin, Aaron Mills. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
