Andrew W. Mooney, 64, of Moline, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his residence.  Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2767 9th Street, Rock Island, IL.  Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Andrew was born on May 7, 1960, in Moline, the son of Wayne L. and Ida M. (Christiansen) Mooney.  He married Teresita Jesalva in 1982.  Andrew worked in the IT Department at UPH-Trinity.  He enjoyed anything to do with technology and watching sports.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Teresita Mooney; children, Ryan (Nicole) Manuel, Wayne (Britanya) Mooney, and Robert (Maribel) Mooney; grandchildren, Gabriel, Angel, Chandler, Emerald, Kahlan, Jacob, Lily, and Cullen; and siblings, Patricia and Wade Mooney.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Mooney.
