Andrew Sondej,32, of East Moline, left us too soon on Wednesday February 11, 2026.

Andrew was born on November 18, 1993, in Silvis, Il., to David and Christina (Meza) Sondej. After graduating from Orion High School, he worked in construction.

Andrew was dearly loved. He had a huge heart and an adventurous spirit. He had a passion for the outdoors, video games, reading, and fostering kittens with his companion, Madi.

Andrew was preceded in death by grandfathers Robert Sondej and Enrique Meza, and uncle Michael Meza.

Survivors include partner Madison Altiery; parents David and Christina Sondej; sister Audriana Cady, brother Aaron Sondej; grandmother’s Vicky Sondej and Ann Meza; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
