Funeral services for Angela M. Schold, 88, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Mrs, Schold died Wednesday, September 7. 2011 at Hope Creek Health Care Center, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Moline or Hope Creek Activity Fund. Angela Giovenazzo was born November 14, 1922 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of George and Concetta Pollicino Giovenazzo. She married the love of her life Paul A. Schold November 14, 1941 in East Moline. He died March 21, 1969. She was a graduate of Sterling Cosmetology School in 1970 and worked locally as a beautician. Angela retired from Samuel's Jewelers South Park Mall, Moline, in 1990. She had been a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. Angela was a loving wife and mother who always put her family before herself. She was a fantastic cook who loved collecting recipes. Survivors include her daughter Cathi (Mark) Dorr of Moline; sons, Sam (Nancy) Schold of Sherrard, IL, Paul Schold of Moline; sister, Dorothy Mann of Silvis, IL, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Theresa Ickes, Mary Smith, Jeanette Kelly, Rose Orendorff, Ann Giovenazzo, Baby Catherine; brothers, Joseph Givens, Jim Giovenazzo, Mike Giovenazzo, Sam Giovenazzo, and her cat, Christopher.
