Anita Ann Pullen, 60, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. A gathering will take place immediately following the visitation at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Carbon Cliff. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.

Anita was born on December 29, 1965, in Moline, the daughter of George and Shirley (Silbaugh) Clifton. She married John Pullen, together they raised three daughters, they later separated but remained close friends. She retired from her work as a nurse in the local hospitals, yet she continued to work as a caregiver until her passing. Anita loved the outdoors, from camping, fishing, boating, and sunbathing. She enjoyed playing darts, baking cookies, and crocheting. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren.

Anita is survived by her daughters, Ann-Marie (Kevin) Pauwels, Randi (Anthony Reyes) Pullen, and Cori (Christopher Koepke) Pullen; mother, Shirley Clifton; grandchildren, Ava-Marie, Amaya, MaryAnn, Leon, Lilliana, and Lucas; siblings, Mike Clifton and Tim (Sonya) Clifton; and John Pullen. She was preceded in death by her father, George Clifton; first husband, Edwin Koch; sister-in-law, Pamela Clifton, and nephew, Michael Lee Cornett.
