Anita was born April 19, 1965, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Buckley) Millett. She graduated from United Township High School (Class of 1983) where she participated in marching band, track and wrestlerettes. She was also a part of St. Anne Parish where she sang in the church choir with her parents. After UTHS she attended Robert Morris College.

After graduating college, she started her career at Modern Woodman in Rock island. This then led to a 30+ career in data processing and in the critical field. Later leading her to other journeys involving John Deere, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 25, Midwest associates and lastly Vera French.

Anita had a passion for listening, helping, healing others and spoiling her kids. She had an obsession with minions from Despicable Me, the color orange and frogs! She'd give everything to the ones she loved, even if it meant she'd have nothing. What brought her joy was being surrounded by my family and loved ones. She was such a kind, warming and welcoming soul to anyone she encountered.

Anita never met a stranger, her heart was made for connecting with others. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile, beauteous blue eyes, contagious laugh and positive spirit. Anita's vibrant spirit and colorful personality truly shined through in her choice of clothing, lighting up every room she entered. She was a Beacon of positivity and joy, never dull, and always brought light to those around her. Her memories will be cherished forever.

Surviving are her husband, Steve Stahler (married January of 2016 ) of Silvis; children, Ryan Keilman, Bettendorf, IA, Amber Loding, Moline, IL, and Ariel Loding, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Tyler, Malachi, and Jeremy; brother, Steve Millet, St. Louis, MO.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Steven Keilman.
