Anita M. Vervenne, 96, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis Funeral services are 11 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to QCPAWS or the American Cancer Society.

Anita was born on August 2, 1921 in Avon, IL, the daughter of Gus and Ella Sundberg. She married Frank J. Vervenne on June 24, 1950 in Port Byron. He died on April 22, 1987. Anita worked as a secretary at Modern Woodman. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in East Moline. Anita enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and had a love for animals.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Arporn Vervenne, Silvis and grandkids, Kanin, Pittawat and Nuthakamone Tawalee.
