Private funeral services for Ann Debowski, of East Moline, IL, will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Public visitation will be 2PM-4PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 1PM. Ann Debowski died on January 25 th , 2021 at Hope Creek, East Moline.

Ann was born March 7th, 1927, in Donora, PA, the daughter of Adam and Anna (Parso) Koday. She married Ed Debowski on May 7, 1949 in Donora and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage.

Ann worked at American Steel and Wire Company in Donora PA. and was a member of the St. Dominic's Alter and Rosary Society and Church. In 1963, Ann and Ed moved to East Moline IL where they raised eight children. Ann enjoyed working in the kitchen part time at Wells Elementary School for many years. She was an avid member of St. Mary's in East Moline and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Silvis where she volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister.

Ann also enjoyed duckpin and tenpin bowling and her many card clubs, especially her 'Giggle Card Club' with her very close friends. She was well known for her warm, kind heart, and unconditional and selfless love.

Survivors include her children; Joseph Debowski, Moline, IL, Michael (Patty) Debowski, Fountain Valley, CA, Kathleen Dopler, Pontiac, IL, Marian Ferry, Colona, IL, Edward (Lisa) Debowski, Laguna Niguel, CA, Ann Marie (Gary) Schutt, Colona, James Debowski, Tustin, CA, and Carolyn (John) Potter, Mission Viejo, CA; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Mary (Koday) Shemony, Adam Koday, Al Koday, Edward Koday, Margie (Koday) Pokomo .

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
