Funeral services for Ann C. Tilton, 101, of East Moline, IL, will be 12:00 NOON,Friday, at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in st. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00PM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL., where a rosary will be recited at 4:00PM. Mrs. Tilton died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church. Ann Williams was born November 4, 1910 in Hartington, NE, the daughter of William and Catherine Schwaller Williams. Her family moved to Carroll, IA when she was 2 ½ years old. She married Lloyd W. Tilton January 22, 1944 in St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Chicago, IL. In 1952 she and her husband moved to East Moline. Lloyd died October 5,1963. She had worked at the Buddy L Toy Company, East Moline for 14 years. She had been a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline and was a devout catholic. She had taken care of Monsignor William Cleary in her home for 5 years. Among survivors are cousins; and her special friends the Rex and Sharon Scranton Family of Coal Valley, IL.
