Anna Colleen Van Bunnen, 88, of East Moline, IL, went to be with Jesus, December 26, 2012. Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Gardens, Davenport, IA. Mrs. Van Bunnen died Wednesday, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Anna was born November 23, 1924 in Klemme, IA the daughter of Harry and Fern Ulrich Gram. She married James Palmer in October of 1943. To this union two children were born: Lester Palmer (Judy), Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Star Anders (Neal), East Moline. James preceded her in death. She then married Joseph Van Bunnen Sr. May 22, 1971. Joseph preceded her in death November 11, 2006. She leaves a son, Lester (Judy) and daughter, Star (Neal Sr.); grandchildren, James (Joyce) Sullivan, Scott (Sandy) Sullivan, Dorothy (Scott) Hess, Jennifer (Terry) Krambeck, Dawn Anders, Neal (Michelle) Anders Jr.; great-grandchildren, Cory, Kristen, Savannah, Sierra, Saige, Jaymee, Gabby, Jennifer, Samantha, Amber Rose, Amber and Quinton Ray; great-great-grandchildren, Serenity, Emma and Gavin; a very special friend in Christ, Keith McCleod.
