Anna Mae Carr, 69, of East Moline died Monday, February 12, 2007, at her home. Visitation is 4-7PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Funeral service will be Saturday 11AM at the Family Funeral Services, Ava Missouri, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Turkey Creek Cemetery, Ava, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Louis Shriners Hospital. Anna was born February 24, 1937, in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Wilburn and Nancy Newberry Barlett. She loved to be with her family and especially loved to cook. She cooked for Harvey's Restaurant which later became Sharon's in East Moline. She also cooked for the American Legion. In her spare time, she loved to sew. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sharon Allison of East Moline, Raymond and Laura Allison of MN., and Roy Carr of East Moline; daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta and Bruce Abramson of MN., and Romona and Bobby Stephens of MO.; 13 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings and a granddaughter, "Cati-Bug".
