Graveside services for Anna J. Miller, 87, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:30AM Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Miller died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, East Moline. Anna Van Damme was born April 10, 1924 in Silvis, IL, the daughter of Leon and Eliza Desmarte Van Damme. She married George Miller October 28, 1939 in Rock Island, IL. He died in February 4, 1992. She had worked at the former J.C. Penney downtown Moline and had been an Avon Sales Representative. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and bowling. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (George) Leibengood of East Moline; sons, Dennis (Barbara) Miller of Hampton, Gene (Mary) Miller of East Moline, Tom Miller of East Moline; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
