Anna D. Moreno, 62, of Silvis, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Allure of the Quad Cities, Moline.

A memorial mass will be 10:00 am on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Divine Mercy Parish at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with recitation of the rosary at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.

Anna was born on January 16, 1963, in Moline, the daughter of Robert and Lydia (Ramirez) Moreno.  She received a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.  Anna worked in retail for multiple companies including: Macy's, Dillards, Marshall Fields, and Saks 5th Avenue.  She also worked for the City of Allen, TX, her last place of employment was Lagomarcino's Confectionary, Moline.  Anna enjoyed playing softball, BINGO, sudoku and crossword puzzles, and watching her favorite TV shows and movies.  Anna could be found deep into a good book and listening to her favorite music.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  Anna loved spending time with her family and her cat, JT.

Anna is survived by her sons, Nicolas Riojas and Adrian Riojas; and siblings, Blanca Castillo, Victor Moreno, and Debbie (Jorge) Sosa.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
