Funeral services for Anna B. Sykora, 90, Silvis, are 1PM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, where she was a member. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Illini Hospital Auxilliary. Anna Talak was born July 8, 1915 in East Moline, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Hajek) Talak. She married Jerry Sykora, February 4, 1939 in Davenport. Anna had worked in the Trim Shop at McLaughlin Body Company. She was a lifetime member of the Illini auxilliary volunteering for over 30 years. She was a volunteer seamstress at Illini Hospital and quilted with the Silvis United Methodist Women. Anna was a member of the Western Bohemian Lodge of Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her husband Jerry, sister Bessie Talak, Moline, a brother John Talak, Mesa, AZ, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Her parents, a brother Frank Talak Jr. and nephew James Talak precede her in death. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com
