Funeral services for Anna "Louise" Zaehringer Holladay, 80, of Wapello, IA, will be 1:00PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Holladay died Friday May 6, 2011 at her home in Wapello, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Anna Louise Sims was born June 30, 1930 in Spickard, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Hazel Knapp Sims. She Married Vincent Zaehringer September 11, 1948 in East Moline. He died February 7, 1984. She married Clyde L. Holladay on February 22, 1988 in Trenton, Missouri. Louise was a homemaker and an avid canner. She attended the Bluegrass Festivals with her handmade crafts. She was an expert at fishing and enjoyed camping. She is survived by her husband Clyde; daughters and spouses, Sue Zaehringer Sodeman and Doug, Terry Campagna and Tony all of East Moline, sons and spouse, Allen Zaehringer and Andrea of Cocoa, FL; Harold Zaehringer of Bettendorf, IA; Bob Zaehringer of Wapello; special grandchildren, Trina Welge, Tara Robinson, Teresa Noa, and Tanya Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her first husband and a sister Darlene McLean.
