Funeral service for Anne C. Riley, 68, of East Moline, IL, will be 11 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Visitation will be 9-11 prior to services at the funeral home. Phase 4 Covid restrictions will be observed. Mrs. Riley died Monday January 18, 2021, at Genesis East, Davenport, IA Anne Freiburg was born September 21, 1952, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Fred and Patricia (St. John) Freiburg. She married Kenneth D. Riley October 21, 1995, at the First Christian Church, Moline. He died December 14, 2019. Anne worked for Millard Group for nearly 20 years. After retirement she became an at home care giver. Anne was a sweet, loving, and kind person. She will be missed. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Thom Wright) VanWassenhove, Orion, IL; grandchildren, Kenneth Stephen Wright and Kira Anne Wright; siblings, Jeff (Joy) Freiburg, East Moline, James (Carolyn) Freiburg, Naperville, IL, Scott (Kim) Freiburg, Danville, CA, Mathew (Tina) Freiburg, Sioux Falls, SD, Marc (Lori) Naples, FL, and Mary Rowe, East Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nephew, Craig Freiburg. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
