Anthony Joseph "Joe" Drefchinski, 89, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, May 23, 2022, at Park Vista, East Moline. Private funeral services will be held and burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Joe was born August 1, 1932, in Moline, IL, the son of Anthony and Barbara (Borgert) Drefchinski. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Patricia Ann Hogan June 30, 1952, in Solon, IA. He retired from ALCOA after 37 years of service.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; children, Joe (Jan) Drefchinski Jr., Tucson, AZ, Patty Zimmer, Le Claire, IA, Jacque Stewart, Moline, and Jody (Dean) Lovell, Coal Valley, IL; grandchildren, Jeff (Tammy) Ball, Stacey Schlaht, Megan Drefchinski, and Brad Lovell; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Alice Drefchinski, Franklin, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Judy; siblings, Mike Drefchinski, Rita Drefchinski, and Dorothy Stueland.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
