He died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Israel Family Hospice, Ames, IA. Butch was born April 9, 1935 in Clarkdale, IA, the son of Carmen and Lucille Erma Cline Mallett. Survivors include his sisters, Dixie (John) Lamantia, Solon, IA, and Diane (Herbert) Dennis, East Moline, IL; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
