Funeral services for Anthony "Tony" Sajovec, 58, of Eureka, IL, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Divine Mercy Parish at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday September 2, 2025 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3 PM. Mr. Sajovec passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at OSF St. Francis, Peoria.

Tony was born November 27, 1966, in Moline, IL, the son of Louis and Rose Jancher Sajovec. He married LaVonne DeWilfond May 31, 1997, in Rock Island.

He was a graduate of Northern Illinois University.

He began his career as a passionate salesman at Georgia Pacific following college. While building a family, he transitioned to Parsons Company and was employed there for 26 years. Towards the end of his career, he worked for O'Brien Steel as a salesman and estimator.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, being a devout catholic, and being outside doing activities like fishing and kayaking. Tony also had passion for woodworking, traveling, and cooking.

Survivors include his children, Brandon (Alexis) Sajovec, Orion, IL, and Marisa Sajovec, Knoxville, TN; grandson, Harvey James Sajovec; parents, Louis and Rose Sajovec, Carbon Cliff, IL; brother, Louis Sajovec, New Virginia, IA; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Sajovec.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family to be donated to a cause close to Anthony.
