Antonio Martinez, 78, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at home. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, with a rosary recited at 5PM with a prayer to follower. Burial and additional services will be held in Jalisco, Mexico. Memorials may be made to the family. They request no flowers.

Antonio was born on July 2, 1940 in Tala, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of Bruno and Margarita (Duarte) Martinez. He married Josefina Iniguez on August 22, 1959. She preceded him and death. Mr. Martinez worked as a welder.

Survivors include his children; Pedro (Martha) Martinez, Jalisco, Martha (Eric) Alfon, East Moline, Rocio (Jorge) Coronado, East Moline, Armando (Roxann) Martinez, Silvis, Yolanda (Manuel) Salazar, Kewanee, Marco Antonio (Viviana) Martinez, Indianapolis, IN, Gabriela (Sergio) Fajardo, Jalisco, Veronica (Agustin) Martinez, East Moline and Claudia (Rodney) Gossard, Fulton and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
