Antonio L. "Tony" Maldonado , 64, of Orion, IL, passed away Thursday December 5, 2024 at his home. A Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10th, from 4-7 PM at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL.

Tony was born June 28, 1960, in Moline, IL, the son of Antonio M. and Ann Schmidtlein Maldonado.

He was an artisan at restoring antique furniture.

Survivors include his children, Nick (Kara) Maldonado, Orion, Jena Wells, IA, and Katherine Iossi, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Keith, Noah, Novalee, Lyam, and Lilly; siblings, John Maldonado, Moline, IL, Daniel (Penny) Maldonado, Coal Valley, IL, and Anita Maldonado, East Moline, IL; niece, Ellie (Jennifer); and nephew, Zac (Paige).

He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Maldonado; grandparents, Gabriel and Virginia Schmidtlein; uncle, Gabe Schmidtlein.
