Funeral services for Arliss C. Schutz, 66, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Mrs. Schutz died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her home. Memorials may be made to the family. Arliss Carter was born August 14, 1946 in Cordova, IL, the daughter of Daniel and Neva Haines Carter. She married Larry Schutz December 16, 1978 in Rock Island. She had worked at the John Deere Plow Planter Credit Union, Moline. She later worked as a secretary at J&J Camper Sales, East Moline. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and knitting. She was a good friend to all. The most important things in her life where God, family, and Country. Survivors include her husband, Larry Schutz, East Moline; daughter, Kelly (Dale) Ramsey, Moline; grandchildren, Ashley Gupton and Elwood Gupton IV.
