Arnold "Sarge" Guerrero, Jr., 70, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, May 5, 2014 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorial visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private graveside services will be held Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.

Sarge was born July 25, 1943 in East Moline, the son of Arnulfo and Joanna Amesquita Guerrero Sr. He retired from the City of East Moline, in 1998, after 28 years of service. He enjoyed doing grounds work for the city, especially working on the ball diamonds. He loved golfing and had been an outstanding bowler. He also enjoyed his "Classic Cars", all silver of course.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Ashcraft, Geneseo, IL, and Delores "Dee" (Frank) Ziegler, Hampton, IL; brother, Albert Guerrero, East Moline; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lucy, Cora, and Carmen; brothers, Paul and Ruben.
