Funeral services for Arthur DeGrande Sr., 85, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30. Mr. DeGrande died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, American Cancer Society, or Polycystic Kidney Foundation. Mr. DeGrande was born October 26, 1921 in East Moline, the son of Alfons and Augusta (DeCocker) DeGrande. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Madeline DeBruyne February 14, 1941 in East Moline. She died May 30, 1987. He had worked for the former American Machine & Metal, and retired from AMTEK, East Moline after many years of service. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mark Lampe of Rock Island, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur Jr. and Susan DeGrande of East Moline, Michael and Estrella DeGrande of Barcelona, Spain, Larry and Pat DeGrande of Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Curt, Michelle, Dustin, Brooke, Tony, Eliott, and Eric; great grandchildren, Derek, Andrew, Jason, and Cooper.
