Funeral services for Arthur Zwicker, 96, East Moline, are 11 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. A memorial fund has been established. Art died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Trinity Regional Health Systems, Rock Island. He was born June 5, 1910 in Rock Island. He married Margaret Koehler in 1942. He later married Rebecca Miller in 1966. She died in 1999. Art served in the US Army during WWII. Following the war he had worked at Massey-Ferguson, taught in elementary and junior high schools and worked a majority of his working years at Minneapolis Moline. Arthur enjoyed reading, music and visiting with people. Survivors include daughters Mary Estep of Billing, MO and Ellen Arnce, Neosho, MO, step children Claude Miller, Taylor Ridge, IL, Roy Miller, East Moline, Edwin Miller, Paris, TX, Oscar Miller, Aurora, CO, and Ava Brown, Fort Worth, TX, three grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 14 step grandchildren, 27 step-great-grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren.
