Augusta L. "Kay" Clark, 89, Hampton, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Unity Point-Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Augusta was born on August 30, 1926 in Cheyenne County, CO, the daughter of Roy and Cleo May (Shriver) Liggett. She married Fred Joe Clark in 1979. Kay had worked as head cook at Black Hawk College and John Deere Insurance. Survivors include her husband Fred, children, Pam M. Smith, Moline, Pat Vermeire, Moline, Robert V. Scudder Jr., Hampton, and James L Scudder, Burlington, seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Burris Liggett, DesMoines. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Abby Vermeire, and five brothers.
