Aurelio Martinez Guapo, 68, of East Moline, IL passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Genesis Illini in Silvis, IL. There will be a visitation from 4-7:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Memorials preferred to the family.

Aurelio was born February 11, 1955 in Sanicolas Guanajuato, MX to Jesus Guapo and Carmen Martinez.

He was skilled in a variety of work including maintenance, flooring, painting, remodeling and more. He enjoyed Cubs baseball, having a beer with his friends, and most of all, his family.

He is survived by his brother, Jesus Martinez, East Moline, and sisters, Leonore, Rosa, Virginia of Sanicolas, MX; and Carmen, San Jose, CA; also his partner in life, Tammy Leach; two daughters, Jamie and Rochelle Leach and five grandchildren, Tyrese, Corianna, Isaiah, Aaron, and Suniyah; a new great-granddaughter, Alaiah and one on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
