Aurora DeLaRosa, 71, of Colona, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Heartland Health Care, Moline. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Aurora wished that memorials would be given to a charity of choice. Aurora was born on December 9, 1942 in Mexico City, Mexico, the daughter of Pedro and Aurora Chavarria DeLaRosa. Ms. DeLaRosa had worked as a secretary and translator for John Deere Co. In her early years she loved acting in the theater. Aurora loved her animals. She was preceded in death by her parents.
