Barbara M. Dockerty, 65, Milan, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at her home. A memorial visitation is 4-6PM Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial fund has been established. Barbara Shallow was born April 30, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of John O. and Beverly M. (Howard) Shallow Sr. She married Joseph C. Dockerty on September 27, 1963 in Wisconsin. Barb had worked 30 years at John Deere Parts Distribution Center, Milan. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Deborah and Denham Shupe, Chester Springs, PA, and Amy Jo Dockerty, Milan, grandchildren; Amber (and Maurice), Tori, Janee, Kelsey and Jedda and great-grandchildren Jeffery and Aysha, a sister Bev Sterling of West Allis, WI, and brothers John O. Shallow Jr., Hazel Green, WI, Michael H. Shallow of Deerfield Beach, FL and Terry L. Shallow of Hazel Green. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, her son Jeffery A. Dockerty in 1993 and a brother Richard.
