Barbara J Hansen, 82, East Moline, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Bickford Cottage, Moline. Funeral services are 11 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is from 9 AM until service time. Barbara was born March 10, 1930 in East Moline, the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Madalyn C. (Wright) McCoy. She married William D. Hansen on June 3, 1950 in Moline. She was a graduate of Moline High School January class of 1948. She retired in 1987 as secretary from the Guidance Center at UTHS South Campus. She had been a president of the Bowlesburg School PTA, Silvis, served on the Rock Island County PTA Board, and was a member of the former Women's Club of East Moline. Survivors include her husband Bill, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Patricia Hansen, SanFrancisco, CA, daughter Patricia J Hansen, East Moline, IL, grandchildren, Dale Zackary, Nicholis L and McKenzie L Bert, Vanessa Marie and Julia Drew Hansen, sister Charlotte Boyer, East Moline, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Mary Ellen Boyer.
