Funeral services for Bernard L. "Bernie" Robertson, 57, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Robertson died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Bernie was born July 21, 1953 in Moline, IL, the son of Bernard D. and Lois Whitehair Robertson. He married Dollie Egert July 5, 1975 in Moline, IL. He worked for Sivyer Steel, Bettendorf, IA. He loved sports and enjoyed watching it on television. He had been an excellent softball pitcher and had played for both the White Horse Inn, Moline and the Rock Island Moose, Rock Island. Survivors include his daughter, Amy Jacks of Moline; son Daniel (Alisa) Robertson of Moline; grandchildren, Kaleb and Hannah Jacks, Lydia and Ezekiel Robertson, and Gavin Hochstein; parents, Bernard D. and Lois Robertson of Moline; brothers Greg (Pat) Robertson of Moline, Mark (Mona) Robertson of Moline.
