Funeral services for Betty A. Butler, 80, of East Moline, IL, will be 2:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday. Mrs. Butler died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to CornerStone Christian Fellowship Church, Moline, where she had been a member. Betty Liggett was born July 11, 1932 in Missouri, the daughter of Denver and Martha Patrick Liggett. She married Dale Butler March 4, 1950 in Rock Island, IL. He died December 2, 2010. She had been a loving homemaker. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Her family was very important to her, she especially loved being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Joeleine (Peter) Berthoud of Moline, Cheryl (Steve) Arnold of Carbon Cliff, IL; sons, Kenneth (Vicki) Butler of Swedona, IL, Donald Butler of East Moline, Terry Butler of East Moline; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Josephine (Robert) Horn, Silvis, IL; brother, Jack (Ann) Liggett, Silvis.
