Funeral services for Betty M. (Cooper) Crowe, 84, of Silvis, IL, formerly of Colona/Green Rock, IL, will be noon Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Thursday and 10:00 AM until noon Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Crowe died Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Van Hoe Funeral Home. Betty Whittington was born August 24, 1928 in Annawan, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Anna Mae Lickhart Whittington. She married Lindy Cooper in 1946. She had been a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Linda Rogers, Silvis, Robert Lee Cooper, East Moline, Ronald Cooper, East Moline, William Cooper, Moline, and Gloria Jean Cooper-Flores, Silvis; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Whittington, Silvis; ex son-in-law, James Rogers, Buffalo, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary Lee Cooper, grandson, Gary Robert Cooper, sister, Dorothy Michaels, brothers, Herbert "Butch", Marvin, Ernest, Raymond, and Robert.
