Betty J. McCarrell, 86, of Moline, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL. Committal services will be held 10:30AM Saturday at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Children's Therapy Center, Moline. Betty Myers was born March 16, 1924 in Flora, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Maude Serena Tolliver Myers. She married John M. McCarrell December 27, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He died July 14, 2010. She retired from the former Strombeck & Becker in 1986, after 32 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Roy Morley of Moline; son and daughter-in-law, John and Ann McCarrell of Port Byron, IL; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Peters of Flora, IL and Louise Bell of Aurora, IL.
