Funeral services for Betty Ann Milburn, 82, formerly of East Moline are 10 AM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Milburn died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research. Betty Ann Hatz was born May 24, 1922 in Leeds, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Marie (Schmidt) Hatz. She married Glen "Sandy" Milburn, August 16, 1941 in Kahoka, MO. He died January 6, 1989. Betty worked 30 years as a para-professional at the former Brown and Long Accounting firm, which later became Reiser-Jennings, Moline. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and being with children. Survivors include her daughter Barbara (Phil) Melillo, Moline, sons William D. Milburn, Silvis and Robert F. (Marsha) Milburn, East Moline, eleven grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and sisters Glennis Ahern, Wintersprings, FL and Doris Martin, Raytown, MO.
