Betty Mae Moline, 84, East Moline, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Forest Hill Nursing and Rehab, East Moline. Visitation is 1-4PM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private family inurnment will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. A memorial fund has been established. Betty Hayden was born March 19, 1924 in Mishawaka, IN, the daughter of George and Clara Hayden. Betty Mae had worked as a bar maid at various area taverns and she retired in 1981 from the Colona Tap. Betty shot pool like a pro and had won many trophies. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law Paul and Delores Melton, with whom she resided in East Moline and Rick Seniff, South Bend, Indiana, and daughters Julia Ann Wessel, Florida and Brenda Sue "Bree" Comins, Milan, 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and a special friend Debbie Stultz. She is preceded in death by husbands Paul Melton Sr., and Dale Moline, five siblings, a daughter Sharon and a son Thomas.
