Funeral services for Betty J. Reyna Hernandez, 64, Silvis, are 10:00 AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 2:00-6:00PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 1:30PM. Betty died Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. A memorial fund has been established. Betty J. Reyna was born December 30, 1944 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Manuel and Evelyn (Negrete) Reyna. Betty had worked as a waitress her whole life from the Scamper Inn in Milan, to the Maid-rite in Moline to Quad Cities USA Restaurant in Moline until her health began to fail. She enjoyed going out for dinner with friends, being with family, and loved to clean. Survivors include: her daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Cliff VanRycke, Silvis, Lisa and Noe Almanza of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and Reyna Getty of Silvis; seven grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her mother Evelyn Reyna of East Moline, sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Manuel Lopez of East Moline, Ruby and Charles Sandoval, East Moline and Teresa Cruces of Elgin, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Delores Reyna, East Moline: and a special friend Fernando Duran of Colona. Her father and a daughter Tina precede her in death.
