Betty A. Roberts, 74, East Moline, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 9AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline Il. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline Il. The Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Betty Roberts College Education Fund for her grandchildren.

Betty Sims was born January 21, 1945 in Moline, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Cabor) Sims. She married Hershel L. Roberts on June 30, 1961 in Moline. He passed May 3, 2011. Betty loved watching Hershel drive the number 58 racecar. Betty also enjoyed genealogy, watching birds, crafts, and playing bingo. She cherished her family and spending time with them.

Betty is survived by her children; Ken (Beth) Roberts, East Moline, IL., Wanda Roberts-Bontz, East Moline, IL, Steve (Peggy) Roberts, Alpharetta, GA; brother, Roy "Bob" (Barb) Sims, Moline, grandchildren Chelsea, Tess, Sadie, Katelyn, Luke, and Elle and great grandchildren; Layla, Lilly, Lucy, Logan and Armani.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother William.
