Betty Jane Roberts, 83, East Moline, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at her home. The family will be having a gathering to honor and celebrate her life on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, from 2 until 6 PM at the family home located at 600 2nd Avenue, East Moline. Betty Campbell was born February 13, 1922 in Media, IL, the daughter of Joe and Eulalie (Baker) Campbell. She married Glynn William Roberts, July 20, 1946 in Texas. He died June 23, 1981. Betty loved music and the beauty of nature, but most of all she loved her family. Her memories are carried on in the hearts of her many children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her surviving children and spouses; Judy and Bob Sowers, Geneseo, Glynn "Bill" and Brenda Roberts, Geneseo, James and Mary Ann Roberts, Coal Valley, David and Kathy Roberts, Rock Island, John and Lyn Roberts, Princeton, IL, Joseph and Suwan Roberts, Woodland, CA, Barry and Sue Roberts, Cedar Rapids, IA, Rebecca and Rich Keehn, San Luis Obispo, CA and Steven Roberts, Oakland, CA, 22 grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother Joseph Campbell, Roseville, IL, Ruth Triplett, Roseville, and sisters Evelyn Palmer, Media, IL and Nancy Dikeman, Maquon, IL. Her husband, a daughter Kathryn McIntyre and sisters Carolyn, Marge and Virginia precede her in death.
