Betty J. Ryan, 77, of Silvis, IL, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Generations, Rock Island, IL. Memorial visitation will be 4-6 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a time of sharing will begin at 6 pm. Betty Cain was born October 16, 1940, in Pauline, KY, the daughter of Estil and Ruth Moore Cain. She married Robert Ryan December 15, 1995, in Davenport, IA. She retired from Oscar Meyer, Davenport. Survivors include her husband; children, Vicki (Bill) Cork, East Moline, Chris Reddish, East Moline, Benjamin (Judy) Reddish, Davenport, IA, Karen Reddish, East Moline, daughter-in-law, Missy Reddish; grandchildren, Brice, Bryce, Brock, Ali, Olivia, and Cameron; siblings, Earnest (Kay) Cain, KY, Barbara (Charlie) Cain, KY, Patsy (Dale) Matthews, MO, Randy (Jackie) Cain, Davenport, David (Bonnie) Cain, KY, Nelda (Keith) Blake, Rock Island, IL, Jackie (Brenda) Cain, KY; sister-in-law, Collette Goettsch, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Jimmy and Michael Reddish, grandchildren, Joshua and Adam, brothers, James and Ricky Cain.
