Funeral services for Betty R. Withrow, 75, of Silvis, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 10 am Tuesday, at St. John Lutheran Church, East Moline. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Betty passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at New Perspectives, Silvis.

Betty was born January 31, 1947, in Moline, the daughter of Leroy and Iona (Kelly) Daniels. She married Lawrence Kern. They later divorced. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). Lately she had been a volunteer, helping Hospice patients.

Survivors include her sons, Brian (Carmae) Kern, Moline, and Kevin (Rhonda) Kern, East Moline; grandchildren, Kyle Kern, Savanna Kern, Brent Grumadas, Brittany (Justin) Hodge, and Brooke (Joe) Matheis; and her brother, Jerry (Tracey) Daniels.

Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, East Moline.
