Memorial services for Beverly Ann Baker, 80, East Moline, are 11AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to All Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline. Beverly died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus Silvis. At Beverly's request her body has been cremated. Beverly James was born November 5, 1926 in Moline, the daughter of Reginald and Eleanor (Koch) James. She had worked at the Rock Island Arsenal during WWII and later as a cook and bartender at several area restaurants and bars, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed cooking and candy making, music, doing crafts and was an animal lover. Bev always had a joke of the day and was a collector of frog memorabilia. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law James and Paula Probizanski, and a granddaughter Lindsey Probizanski, all of Port Byron. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com
